VisArch currently sets one first-party cookie to remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics. This preference cookie is necessary to preserve your choice and prevent the banner from appearing on every visit. It is not used to identify you, advertise to you, or follow you across websites.

Your choices
You can accept or decline optional analytics without affecting access to the website. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time to change or withdraw your choice. Saving a new choice replaces the previous record and starts a new 180-day period. You can also delete the cookie in your browser settings; the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Technical safeguards
The preference cookie is set by VisArch on the server with the HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and site-wide Path attributes. On the live HTTPS website it also uses the Secure attribute. VisArch does not share this cookie with third parties.
